The Audacity Of Charlie Rangel- Taxpayers Should Mind Their Own 'Goddamned Business'
What these lovely politicians neglect to come to terms with is the fact that once they take office they instantly became EVERYONE'S business. It is my business to know that you're a cheat and a liar if you happen to also be working for me and the rest of the American citizens. And I don't give a damn if you're Republican, Democrat, Left, Right, Conservitive, Liberal... it doesn't matter... if you're DIRTY, you need to vacate and let an honest person take over. GET OUT!!

You have to consider this in the light of how expensive real estate is in NY. I believe he also has properties in the DR and didn't his son get a sinecure job as a web master or something like that without any experience for a decent wage? There are two solutions to this problem, and one of them is only temporary as it would seem people become corrupted by the power. Defining the other one here would get me in hot water.

No, just human. I couldn't even afford a studio in Manhattan and this guy has 4 apartments. At least 2 are rent controlled.
People like Rangel (effectively "elected for life") demonstrate daily how today's "political class" see themselves as "rulers" NOT "servants."
Every one of them disagraces the Constitution and this country.
