The fact a 13 year old boy can see that this man is a terrorist in America really shows how the innocent can see "what is what" often better than adults and far better than politicians. The boy I'm speaking of is a very caring child who is taught things in school, brings them home to us and we just stand there with our mouths open wondering why this crap is being crammed into his brain. Thing is... he's very caring... fairness and tolerance is something he seems naturally drawn to (as many young people are). We are taught as children to be fair... hell, we teach our children to be fair.

The government takes advantage of our teachings of fairness and twists it around into something unrecognizable to us. Fair does not necessarily mean equal… and equal does not always pertain to individuality. We teach that our children should be fair in that they don’t bully or hurt others in an attempt to pedestal themselves. We teach our children to share their toys when a friend comes to visit… but they don’t have to give them to the kid as he walks out the door.

Equality does not mean everyone has the same items in their homes. Equality does mean that my general rights as an American are the same as the guy down the street or the woman on the other side of the country. No, that doesn’t mean she gets to have half of my comic book collection just because she didn’t bother to get some one her own. No, that doesn’t mean I have to live in a smaller house just because she lives in a slum apartment. Not my fault… nothing in my life has dictates how her life goes … NOR SHOULD IT.

A terrorist killed American soldiers and guess what… he only proved that we SHOULD look to those who are obviously inclined to be against Americans and against American values. They say “be tolerant… be giving… don’t assume that a certain class of person will act or think a certain way… be forgiving… don’t let a person’s heritage cloud your judgment”.

And yet here we are… clouded, jaded and saying “I told you so”… and apparently, justifiably so.

And a few more links to give insight! I appreciate all of those who go out of their way to research and make sure what they post is as accurate as possible. It's so hard to know what is what these days with people posting and making stuff up. This blog is full of MY opinions... my opinions of fact (or supposed fact). :o)

Right is Right: Emails to Al Qaeda And Obama doesn't care. Why should he. Remember he was raised a Muslim. Then for 20 years he attended the Rev. Wright's church to hear more hatred being spewed about our country. He only quit Wright's church because the political heat was starting to coming down on him. Since the democrats just passed that hate crimes bill I wonder if we American are now a protected species. This animal that just killed and wounded Americans at Ft. Hood, did it out of hatred. Muslims who think like this killer, and the Rev. Wright who preaches hatred should all be locked up. I just can't let this go. Obama's actions are like a huge slap in the face to our military and a powerful signal that he has no interest in protecting us.

Sources Identify Major as Gunman in Deadly Shooting Rampage at Fort Hood
Authorities have not identified the gunman publicly, but official sources have named Major Malik Nadal Hasan, a psychiatrist who reportedly didn't believe in the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan and wanted out of the military before he was set to be deployed overseas.

I suppose THIS event in Hasan's now "finished" life is far better than being deployed. Take 11 lives... destroy the dreams of those lives you've taken and utterly demolish the families of those who are now dead. Not only that... being dead himself much be far better than the alternative of being deployed and coming home again to his own family.

And this poor, poor man was apparently a victim of harassment per his cousin. So freaking what!!! He didn't feel we should be in Iraq and Afghanistan and instead of going... he killed 11 fellow soldiers and possibly killed particular ones not just firing randomly. His cousin claims he was a good American... really? If that were ever true, it isn't now. He ruined his name, his life and the lives of the families who have now lost loved ones for NO REASON AT ALL!

Still waiting for a press conference however the news claims there may have been another victim to pass away which would bring the deaths to 12 (not including the gunman because I don't feel the need to include his life as a loss).

When I heard the news today, I was at work and my stomach dropped when I learned this had happened on a military base where there are so many trained men and women who are working to protect American lives. On a personal note... I lost my breath momentarily because in just a week I fly out to another military base where my son is in AIT. He graduates next week and I'm very excited to see him again. I pause, however after hearing about the lives lost in Fort Hood. I celebrate my son's achievement and grieve for those who have lost their sons and daughters who have done so much to make it so my son could do what he is setting out to do.

Well, well... Mr. Hasan is NOT dead. So now what will happen to him? How many will come forward to his defense and claim it isn't his fault he feels what he feels and that HE'S the victim!

... maybe I'm jaded.

The soldiers on base do not carry weapons but have armed guards. They will increase those guards as a matter of community security. All because some mass murderer decided his life was far more important than the lives of 12 others. Lots of people are unhappy about Iraq and Afghanistan... but they don't shoot their fellow Americans.

I'm going to scream if people blame the military for this man's actions.

Just thought I would mention this... the young 13 year old son living in my house said the following after I told him what this "less than human being" did.

"He's a terrorist... here in America".

Ya... he is a terrorist. People think a terrorist has to be a certain type of person... a terrorist is someone who searches out others because of who they are and then kill or attempt to kill them in order to cause chaos and disorder. At least that's my definition. This man searched out certain people, killed them for his own purposes and will now claim it's because he was picked on. Disgusting.

H1N1... Deceit, Treachery and Murder!!

Just a quick rant... we've all heard about H1N1 (aka Swine Flu). I have subjected myself to getting the regular seasonal flu for the last four years at my place of work. The reason I did it the first year was because I was the only person earning money to take care of my son. I figured it was best to get it as I was also living in a new area... it seemed logical. After that I just got it because it was available and I figured I didn't get sick the previous years, so why not.

This year we were supposed to have it available but have been told that we probably won't because there aren't enough companies making the REGULAR flu vaccine. They're too damn busy making the H1N1 vaccine and ignoring making the shot most of us want and/or need. I am not in a high risk category for the H1N1 so I certainly don't want the stupid shot... but I WAS planning on getting the regular one. Alas, I will get none and just keep myself healthy, eat my vitamin C and lots of grapefruits. Oh… and lots and lots of red meat (that’s for you Al Baby!).

So my question now is... how long before people start dropping like flies when they catch one of the three TOP flus this year (not H1N1) because they had to settle (and I do mean settle) for the F’ing Swine Flu shot!!!

I just happen to think it’s stupid to focus on one strain that is just as dangerous (or even less dangerous) than all the other strains. People die from the flu every year and making everyone panic over something unnecessarily tells me one thing. Those in charge (aka Obama) are using this to make themselves into heroes they can never honestly be without deceit, treachery and, dare I say, MURDER! I had to through that last word in there… it makes this post more dramatic.

And the most lovely of them all, Jodie "puke on our country" Evans, has decided that we ("we" meaning all of those individuals who actually fall for her saliva filled crap) should conduct citizen's arrests of the Bush administration... including former president George W. Bush (oh... and his wife Laura... thus the calendar below).

It's refreshing that lovely Jodie (cough) is keeping a calendar for people to use in order to kidnap American citizens. It's also so very cool that we can DONATE money to their cult in order to receive a "gift" of their brainwashing cards. And it's even more special that they provide a special "how to arrest a war criminal" guide. I'm hopeful some lunatic will take these lovely pink pukes at face value and go through with their suggestions... won't it be nice to see them behind bars.

So much so, that when Army Reservist Staff Sgt. Brett Bennethum lined up in formation at his deployment this July, she couldn't let go.

I don't have a political comment to make regarding this article... nor any grand agenda for posting the picture. It just tugs at me when I see small children trying to be strong when they can't understand the possible consequences of a parent going off to war. For this child and many others it's just a matter of missing mom or dad and not knowing when they will be seen again.

Time flies for us... for adults... but for children it drags on and on into forever and nothing makes it go faster. It's being stuck in quicksand with the horrors of sinking always looming but never happening. That ever present threat of something wonderful or horrible happening and then feeling like your whole body is being torn apart with anticipation. Telling a child she won't see her father for a year is like telling an adult they won't see them for ten years. It just seems so far away... so distant and daunting.

Adults know what could happen when a soldier is shipped off... we don't tell our children... we keep it inside and lock it away in an impenetrable vault when they are around. But late at night when we watch them sleep with dreams of being reunited, we cry at the thought of bringing the bad news and then living with the guilt of not being able to make those dreams come true.

No, I have not had to live this nightmare but it doesn't take living it to touch on the despair is could bring. My son is still at Basic Training and I await his return calmly. I try not to think of what could happen one day in the future... but I can touch upon the despair and it destroys me.

Okay… seriously? They had to receive nominations for the Nobel Peace Prize by February 1^st… 12 days after BO took office. They sent out the solicitation for the nominations two months before he was even elected which means some people nominated him without even knowing if he would be president OR they nominated him with less than 12 days into his four year term.

I had never seen nor heard of this video until it was brought up on the radio. Often children neglect to mention what they have seen and heard at school and we go about our lives never knowing that they have had lies forced into their brains. As far as they know, we believe the same thing being taught at school. Along comes the day when they see us doing something they were taught is wrong and they come unglued. This causes disrespect from our kids which leads to misbehavior which can lead to the loss of a grand relationship that can be had between parent and offspring when the child becomes an adult. That doesn't mean we all have to agree 100% with our children or our parents... what it means is that we, as parents, need to protect our children from lies so that they can grow up in a healthy environment. Whether or not they hate us for it is another story.

Ah yes... Big Brother creeps into our schools with the cheers of the media and the government and the liberal teachers who feel its important to smear any and all presidents (specifically George W Bush) who do not agree with their agenda. They like to say that they are giving the students information from all sides and yet... and yet they lie... surprisingly. They do not give the students anything but what they want them to learn in order to raise themselves up and stamp out their enemies.How do I know? Because I have children and they happen to innocently tell me what they are taught and I am left shocked (although not entirely shocked)... and then I have to give them the rest of the information.

The Story of Stuff found here is being shown in our schools without permission from parents. This is extremely upsetting because the schools are encouraging just one view point.

What does seeing our kids chanting and giving praise to Barack Obama remind you of? Perhaps it reminds you of children praising Hitler? Or maybe God? The lyrics remind us of "Jesus Loves the Little Children" so perhaps it reminds you of that? It could remind you of a cult. Hmmm...

Praising your god is one thing but praising a man who hasn't even proved himself as a great leader is a large red flag that the agenda of Liberals is to indoctrinate as many youth into their special club as possible. Their own belief in Obama as their leader will only go as far as he will go for them.

Lately however I have been receiving comments from trolls. I may decide differently in the future, but for now... show yourself or be denied a space on my blog. If you want to be nasty and have a link to your blog... well, that's your choice to have others follow you home because I will probably let it be posted (unless you're just being flat out vulgar).

This isn't censorship... for two reasons; 1) I am denying everyone who will not identify themselves and 2) this is a blog started and maintained by a free citizen of this country and I am not a journalist and I don't pay anyone (myself included) for making posts or comments to my blog. [Ha... can you imaging me paying myself... I could give myself a raise anytime I want or just refuse to pay... fantastic]

It's amazing to me (although perhaps it shouldn't be) how easily people hide behind the anonymous disguise. It's in this manner that a person does not have to be responsible for his or her own words. They can mouth off or be rude and nasty all they want because no one will know who they are.

Do you kiss your mother with that mouth... nice!

Hey, here's an idea... open up your own blog and make your own posts about issues that are important or interesting to you! Then find other blogs you like and those you don't agree with and make comments while you're LOGGED IN. That way people know who you are and they can reasonably respond.

If you had comments to make to my face, would you hide behind a paper bag? I think not. You would say nothing... or you would find a way to have a civil conversation... or you would be a rude jackass. The big difference is that I would know who you are and you would be responsible for your words... good, bad or ugly (thank you Clint Eastwood!!)

Avoidance is wonderful, isn't it. Just say what you want and don't take the credit or the blame... that sounds much like our government.

I want to share a few thoughts today as I realize just how strong I still feel about what happened... now 8 years ago... and the fact we're still dealing with it.

May we never forget the attack on our country and our people. Why? Denial can only lead to more pain. The politics that have occurred since this attack have only led to more ond more open wounds between citizens who do not agree. The small percentage of human beings called politicians whom we have given power to, laugh at how easily Americans can be prodded into the political coliseum where we engage in cock fighting at the mere drip of disagreement. How angry we all are… how angry I am.

Last year I was depressed when 9/11 snuck up on me… this year I am angrier than ever. Not every day… not at those around me… I am angry that political agendas have wiggled under the skin of Americans and given us all a cancer. Anger can be a great asset... but when anger is created for the enjoyment of others it is a cancer. I can feel the burning anger towards our government. Perhaps that is the agenda of the terrorists? If so... I would say it's working.

Political agendas be damned!

We are being told the enemy does not exist and that we, American citizens, are the evil terrorists. They point their political fingers at us and tell us how bad we are and expect what? Repentance for things we have not done? Perhaps they expect us to beg them to cleanse us. With what… their dirty conniving hands? No… the enemy is not within… the enemy is sitting in the bleachers laughing at us. Politicians consort with terrorists and therefore become terrorists. When was the last time you didn’t feel terrorized when you heard the media telling you that you’re a racist or a hater or a stupid conservative bigot? I consider that terrorism… mental abuse, if you will.

So on this memorial of September 11, 2001, I am not depressed… I am angry that our “protectors of freedom” (our military) have never truly been allowed to defend our freedoms but instead have had to play politics and bow to the will of liberal agendas and other such nonsense. Like holding back the lion from its prey until it dies from starvation, we hold back our military with threats of law suits or dishonorable discharges if they dare to defend themselves let alone their country to their fullest ability. Let our warriors fight… let them win with honor.

The question does come up… have we really won the war… is there still a war going on… do our men and women warriors even know where they stand or why they are fighting?

People realize that "forgetting" is what leads to reliving history and we must not forget the atrocity that fell upon our country killing thousands of our civilians and sending even more thousands of our men and women to war.

It’s amazing to me how fast time goes and usually I notice it when I think of the fact my son is actually 17 years old. As many of you know, he has joined the Army National Guard and will be going into basic training during the summer of 2009. He will be attending college for four years after that and will not be deployed unless we become involved in a “new” conflict. With so much going on in the world these days, he may end up having his college interrupted to defend our country.

Justin has made it a goal to make this a career as he will go from the National Guard into the Army as an officer after college. Therefore, he may indeed see himself in a situation that takes him from our loving arms and into the arms of a conflict. Perhaps that is why this year’s anniversary of September 11, 2001 (Patriots Day) is affecting me so greatly. It’s the knowledge that my son may be leaving my side to defend my freedoms that I hold so dear to my heart.

Although I find myself in tears at the thought of him simply moving down the street to go to college, I am very proud of his decision to defend his country and have such a lofty and wonderful goal for his future. He is a wonderful young man! I am afraid for his future when it comes to what he may face, but I have never been more proud of anyone in my life; he is more than I could have ever dreamed.

May we each take the moment necessary out of this day and any day we feel the need to remember those who have gone before us in defense of our freedoms.

Idiots Keeping Racism Alive and Well

Why do people enjoy keeping racism alive? Is it just for the satisfaction of beating their chest and saying "see... I am a good person because I am fighting against racism"? It sure seems so these days.

Individuals can even find racism in a child's toy... but only if that racism is directed at a particular portion of our citizens.

Costco Pulls Doll (8/27/09)
Costco Wholesale Corp. on Thursday apologized to any of its customers who may have been offended by a doll the company pulled from its stores after a complaint about possible racist connotations.
The doll wore a headband that said "Lil' Monkey" and was cuddling with a stuffed monkey. The "Cuddle with Me, Doll with Plush Monkey" doll came in Caucasian, African-American and Hispanic representations.
But shortly after the toys were put up for sale in late July, Costco received a complaint from a customer in North Carolina concerning the version of the doll that showed an African-American baby with the monkey.

It's dumb because all of the dolls of each of the represented cultures have the same outfit, animal and headband. It wasn't as if this company pinpointed just the African-American doll.

I would like to point out the following website called bushorchimp where it posts pictures of George W Bush and monkeys (aka chimps) in various posses trying to point out the similarities. No one went crazy with this website... no one stated that we were some how racist or disrespectful to a President of our country by saying he looks like a monkey. What would happen if they made a similar website called obamaorchimp? I'll tell you what SHOULD happen... exactly the same thing that has happened with this previous website... NOTHING. People need to stop assuming everything is about race... stop keeping people in chains!!

Here is a photo of the other line of dolls. This line is apparently fine and doesn't depict some terrible racist comment.

So... what about all of the little girls who have the doll already? Someone had to purchase it for them. Someone, somewhere is either unaware that this is a problem or is actually **GASP** trying to overcome past racial slurs and move forward. And what about all the others who refuse to buy it... what are they telling their daughters? Are they telling them exactly why they can't have the doll?

Why not just let the child be a child and stop worrying about stupid crap like this? Don't limit a child's imagination in some effort to keep her a a level she need not be... let her grow and overcome and move on and live in a society that doesn't even know what the hell this post is about.

Stop Campaigning Obama: Same Speech, Different Subject

Most presidents stop campaigning after being elected. They pick it up again the closer they get to reelection and then let it go again once that is accomplished.

Barack Obama continues to campaign to this day.

Watch him... listen to him... see and hear what he's actually saying and how he's saying it. Can he not just speak without sounding like he's talking down to everyone around him? Can he not speak without sounding like the SAME recording over and over again? He uses the same speech just with different words for whatever new program or vision he's pushing on us today?

STOP CAMPAIGNING OBAMA... you won the election, right? So why do you continually make these campaign-like speeches? Well, it's probably because now you have to convince all of us that you can do all those spectacular things you promised even though many of us don't want those promises because the price tag is too high.

I hear what you're saying, Obama. "You, the average American, don't know what's best for you so I, Obama, will make those choices for you. All I ask for in return is anything I want sometime in the near future when you will be so far in the hole of government control that I have dug that you will have to buy the only ladder available... the one in my house".

Obama's Arrogance and Uncaring Nature Shows Front and Center

The history of these three men is not so evident in this picture. Based on what we see above it seems that Crowley and Gates are friends and Crowley cares very much for Gates as an individual while Obama just leads the way figuring its beneath him to help. And yet, the history books show that Gates accused Crowley of being a racist and has never apologized (as far as we the public know)... and apparently Gates and Obama are friends?

I'm not seeing it...

What will an American with nothing to lose do?

When people are comfortable with their lives they don't typically rock the boat too much. As a matter of fact, they usually let things slide. Work related things, personal things, relationship things, family matters... you know, the usual issues that might bother someone unless they are okay with things enough to let the said issues slide.

The same is true with government. If the government isn't really doing too much to change a person's life, that person usually just lets the little stuff slide on passed. They may sit around the table and complain a bit but for the most part, they just shrug their shoulders and say "it isn't really affecting me much anyway, so I won't bother to do anything about it".

Then one day that person starts to lose things... maybe he loses his job and it takes him a couple of months to find a new one so bills don't get paid. Maybe he notices his grocery bill is getting higher or his credit card has increased his interest rate... again. Maybe he notices that same credit card has actually lowered his spending limit even though he has excellent credit. Perhaps he ends up filing bankruptcy because he's so buried in debt either from his own stupidity or because he lost that job. Or maybe it's so bad that he can't pay his mortgage and finds himself needing to sell it or let it foreclose.

All of the above has not happened to me... but some of it has. Now we're hearing the media tell us the housing market is coming back and that things are turning around. I'm here to tell you that is not true. To sell my house, I have to take a 45% loss... and right now we have a hardship which means we MUST sell our house. The writing is on the wall and I feel like my world is crashing down around me.

Who do I blame? I will always take blame when it's mine to take but I am not to blame for what's happening out there with our economy. I do not usually point fingers simply to point them nor do I usually fall on that old stereo type of how horrible politicians are but I have to tell you... I do blame the politicians and the hard-ass rich bastards that swell the politician's wallets and egos. I am not someone who is against the "rich" simply because they are rich... hell, I strive to gain some wealth myself. What I hate are the wealthy individuals and organizations who play with the regular people's lives like a house of cards.

So if I end up without a house and horrible credit... what exactly do I have to lose? My family will stick with me no matter what and I have awesome friends who will also stay by my side. So what is it that I have to lose?

If you take it all away from me... then why NOT revolt? Ah... I know some think that if you take it all away from the people then they will have nothing to fight for... they will lose hope and fade away. But that's not really what American's are all about... American's are all about freedom and liberty and if you push us far enough away from those rights... we will push back. And if we have nothing to lose... we will fight!

I am pointing to this old post because it continues to get comments on a consistent basis. The problem with these comments is that most of the owners of them are ANONYMOUS. I have chosen to go ahead and post their thoughts even though it clearly warns anyone making comments that ANONYMOUS posts are not usually allowed. Why? Well, because it's a veil that people hide behind... they don't have to take credit or get called on their comments because no one knows who they are. Still... if the person isn't swearing or being rude, there is a great chance I will post what is said.

When you visit this link, be sure to check out the comments. We have some intelligent ones and then there are some paranoid comments and then there are those who are name calling. I've almost decided to go ahead and let all comments for this post to be allowed because it only proves how ignorant people are... it shows which ones are just here to lash out at others.

Here we go... let us make regulations so tough that if a person wants to open their own business, the government will force them into bankruptcy. Gee... wonder how that will help the economy or those who desperately need employment.

Barack Obama is a herder. He herds his flock in the direction he so chooses... and they blindly go where he DICTATES. Their only word is "bah" (which represents simply repeating what Obama says) and their only action is to crap on anyone who doesn't conform.

Barack Obama is a dictator in the making... he has convinced his followers that what his right hand is doing doesn't matter and that they should just look at his left. One day in the future, Americans may be apologizing to the world for Barrack Obama. Where did this man get the supreme power over our lives? Oh ya... it was given to him by those who voted for him. And now he apologizes to everyone for things HE thinks were bad.

Why on Earth would he apologize to the WHOLE of Europe for his perceived arrogance of the WHOLE of America. He no more knows Europeans than he knows Americans.

Why would he apologize to the Muslims by telling them we make mistakes and that we aren't perfect? Of course those things are true... but to apologize for something EVERYONE on Earth does is stupidity.

Why would he apologize for the United States dictating terms? Have our "terms" actually been detrimental to those we are trying to help? And when have we NOT tried to forge partnerships?

Why, for the love of god, would he make a statement telling the world that we made decisions based on our fear? Why would any GREAT leader stand before other leaders and tell them his country is afraid? Is it to form some sort of sympathy or empathy for future negotiations? I think not... all that does is make our allies (if we have any left) believe that any decisions we make in the future will always be based on how afraid we are at that moment. And WTF? He has the audacity to stand there and tell them that our government LIED and falsified evidence to fit our purposes? First of all... what kind of president says that... and who is he trying to impress? Secondly... we are by far more honest with the world than other "individuals".

Why would he apologize for Guantanamo by stating that it's very existance is a detrement on our values?

When will we stop apologizing for slavery and segregation? Where in America is slavery and segregation still practiced? If it is practiced... then why? And if it is... then why isn't it on the news every night? Why? Because it's outlawed... because the bulk of America knows that every man and woman is a human being and all are the same in that respect. Those who are racist are those who dwell upon the past and won't let others move on. And those who are true racist... the people who truly hate others for being different than themselves... well, they definately help those who won't let it go by making the rest of us look bad.

Michael Jackson Dies at the Age of 50

I know there's a lot of talk about Michael Jackson's passing and it's all over the place. I also know that many people are getting tired of hearing and reading about it. I will make this short but this post is more of a matter of sensing my own mortality through the passing of so many "celebrities" who are not "that far" from my own age.

Ever notice when celebrities die who are really not that far from your own age it makes you say "whoa... now wait a minute"?

I am much younger than Ed McMahon. Farrah Fawcett was a good 20+ years older than I am. But Michael Jackson wasn't even 10 years older than me. Talk about dieing a young man and making me feel just that much closer to the end.

There were mixed emotions for me when he died. There was almost a sense of "knowing" it would happen before too long just because a person can't live like that and not burnout soon. On the other hand, people who are that far out of reach from the "rest of us" always give off an aura of immortality. There can't possibly be an end to that type of life, is what one often feels.

My son and I watched a few documentaries (if you can call them that) this last weekend and he said he never knew much about Michael Jackson other than the fact most of the kids his age thought he was a freak. When I was my son's age, all the kids thought he was fantastic. We watched and he said that he was surprised to find out that Michael Jackson was so talented. I just sort of grinned because honestly, he was very talented. I just think the eccentricity of his life and those who surrounded him got into his mind and he lost sight of his original goal when he first began his career.

I have no idea if the several accusations and rumors about his life were true... but I do know that for every one of them there was always an alternative answer. I personally believe he went off the deep end during the last 10+ years. The surgeries, the marriages, the purchases, the debt, the health dive and all of the changes to his looks made many of us pull away from how we used to feel about him. I thought he was very talented... but then I thought he was very crazy. Was he crazy? Hard to say. I do believe he still had a strong sense of right and wrong... he just didn't always know how to act upon that knowledge. It's always hard to hear but maybe he truly IS in a better place.

Farrah Fawcett died on the same day as Michael Jackson and her death took an immediate back-seat to his. I was upset at that at first but then thought perhaps it's better for her because people will be able to let her go and not dwell on her passing the way they will for Michael Jackson. Michael's family will deal with the passing through the fans bawling and lingering in mourning over him. They will be asked to express their feelings and relive every moment with him for a very long time. Farrah's family will also deal with these types of things but will be able to live in peace much sooner. Sometimes too much fame really does kill.

I think fame is over rated... it may be fun for a time but eventually you come to realize that you can never get away from it.

There really hasn't been much to laugh about lately, Obama.

As a matter of fact, it's been downright depressing watching the bailouts fail while we, the little guy, must eventually pay for that failure. It's foolish to spend more money in order to save money... at least that's true to this huge degree.

Perhaps you are putting some business class you had in college to use here with the thinking that in order to make money, one must spend money. Ya... that's for starting up a business or increasing it's size, etc. The same concept can not be used for large countries in debt so far up to they eyebrows that spending more merely sinks us and causes us to become the "country that used to be great".

Do we really think it's too far fetched that Mr. BO may be in fact changing our country so dramatically that we are forced to become Socialists? Not really... all we have to do is look at his voting history, political career before 2009 and the decisions he is now making as our President; not to mention the people he bows down to.

None of our soldiers should ever feel that coming home is scary. Each of them should be welcomed home as a hero in their home state and their home town. They should long for the day to be in the arms of their loved ones not worried that they may never speak to them again. My son will be one of these brave soldiers and he will always be welcome in my home! And every soldier I see receives my gratitude.

Or perhaps the 70's really were good when Carter was in the Oval Office.

Headlines That Caught My Eye

I've been pretty discouraged lately with all the garbage floating around out there in our American air (and I'm not talking about swine flu, bird flu or even the deadliest... donkey flu).

There comes a point when I have to focus on what's directly in front of me... my family. I must take care of them even when the country seems to be falling apart. Imagine the helplessness people must have felt in the past when there was no such thing as the Internet (a place where we can post our opinions about what's going on when the "real" media only reports what they want us to know). It makes me wonder truly how much in the past either was exaggerated or buried. I just wonder...

So here is a very long list of links to posts I have been saving to draft in order to make comments later. Well, I don't think I'll get to them fast enough before the news they bare is so old that cobwebs have formed around them. I have always tried to focus my posts on what matters most to me or strikes me as important to speak out against or speak out in favor of whatever the issue may be. Lately, there is so much going on that there is no way for me to keep up. I have often wondered how other bloggers can keep up with events until it dawned on me that some blogs have more than one person making all those dozens of posts in one day... duh.

To those blogs who actually only have one author... I commend you on being able to keep up. All of the events are mind boggling and I do wonder if it is the purpose of this new administration to do so much, so quickly, that there is no way for Americans to keep up and hold them accountable for their actions. If they keep their hands moving in spastic motion, maybe we won't notice that each of them actually have three hands and the third is pushing the truth cautiously to the floor and burying it under the carpet.
